Operation

Fault Displays

FieldMaxII-TOP is capable of detecting internal and

user-induced faults. When a fault is detected, the letters

“Er”—followed by a numeric fault code (see

Table 1)—appear on the display. You can dismiss a fault

code by pressing any button, or by correcting the cause

of the fault.

Bad zero

Data overflow (result of an arithmetic opera-

tion that is greater than can be held in the allo-

cated storage)

Wrong type of sensor is attached to the instru-

ment
